I decided to do this look worn by everyone's favourite diva because it combined elements in makeup that I love - dramatic AND messy.

Now, I didn't recreate the 'crying' effect in my look - as I don't think too many people want to look like they have been crying their eyes out over Jay-Z not loving them... but if you do, you can simply apply a little bit of Vaseline to the lower lash line - that works just fine.

Adele inspired make-up
Being such the star she is at the moment it was inevitable that I would be doing a tutorial based on the beautiful and talented Adele. I love how her looks often mixes in different trends - with the dark socket of the MOD Sixties, the simple thick line of the Classic Fifties and the fresh rosy cheeks of recent trends... And a big plus is that this can be very wearable indeed.
INSPIRATION PICTURES
Basically the main products you need to base your look on Adele is some neutral and brown colours (ranging in different shades, from light to dark), a black liner, mascara and a rosy blusher.

EYE LINER: Clinique True Black Liner and MAC Typographic eyeshadow
MASCARA: Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash
BLUSH: Bourjois Rose de Jaspe

Shirley Manson 'Milk' Music video inspired make-up
A look as cool as the deep blue ocean...
Why did I do this? Well I love the band, I love the song, I love the video, I love the look, I love her.... why not?
The key theme to stick with in this look is fresh clear skin and bold red lips (a combination Shirley was a keen fan on) equipped with deep blue eye makeup. Now Shirley, naturally, has a very opalescent complexion but you really don't have to go too light (if at all)... infact I do believe that this look will appear beautifully on darker skin and eye tones... particularly the blue eye makeup. You probably want to adapt your red lipstick to compliment your skin tone with reds with a bluey undertone being better suited for fairer skin tones and reds with a warm orangey undertone suiting darker skin tones.
